    While you are you listening, note any reactions you have. Reactions may include: Smiling/laughing (I did smile from time to time) Having a question Wanting some clarification Experiencing a certain emotion evoked by the text Having your attention wander (a little bit but not really) Wanting to know more about something Etc. anything that you think the writer may want to know about the readers reaction 2. What argument is the writer making?

    3. What type of claim (policy, value, fact) is their argument? And, how do you know?

    4. What do you admire most about this draft? Please be specific and give examples.

    5. If you had to offer the writer TWO things to focus on while revising the text (besides correcting grammar, spelling, and punctuation) what would they be and why? Please be specific and offer examples.
