BRAC Internationals Young Professionals Programme (YPP) provides the foundation for exceptionally qualified and motivated fresh graduates seeking a professional career in development. YPP offers a range of opportunities to develop professional skills and understand BRACs diverse development programmes, operations, policies and procedures.
Course Outline: Classroom training at BRAC University and BRAC learning centres in Dhaka, Bangladesh (4 months) followed by on-the-job training at field operations in various programme locations across Bangladesh (2 months). During this period, YPs will gain a conceptual and empirical understanding of different dimensions of development and how they intersect to create opportunities and threats for strategies to inhibit or promote transformations in the lives of the poor. They will gain an indepth understanding of all BRAC development programmes.
B. Two-month Training Programme at YPs Country of Origin: During this period, YPs will further develop their expertise and broaden their perspective through exposure to their countrys specific development programmes. C. Two-year field level deployment in different programmes at the YPs Country of Origin
Am I Eligible to Apply?
The following eligibility requirements guide the recruitment of the Young Professionals:
Applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above (in a scale of 4.0) or 4.5 and above (in a scale of 5.0) at undergraduate level from a reputed university. Graduates from any discipline are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be a national of their respective country and have a valid passport Applicants must be fluent in English and at least one local language Applicants must be a maximum of 30 years of age. Applicants must have the ability/motivation to work in a multicultural work environment Flexibility and capacity to work in different areas of the organization Strong analytical, interpersonal, team and communication skills A desire and readiness to serve in field assignments

Selection Process?
Applications will go through a rigorous screening process. Short-listed candidates will be invited to a written and oral assessment followed by a formal interview. Newly appointed Young Professionals will be expected to join and travel to Bangladesh by October 2013 to begin training.

Upon completion of training, recruits will receive a monthly salary and benefits as per BRACs country-specific salary structure and policies.
