Why Doesnt Man Curse The Devil?

As a born again believer, I, as well as you, are surrounded by unbelievers every day of our lives. We are bombarded with their worldliness. Notice I said their worldliness, because as a born again believer, (through the blood of our Savior Yeshua (Jesus the Christ) it is no longer a world to which we belong, or should claim to be a part of. For example, one of the best sayings I think Ive ever heard about a believer is, if you were accused of being a Born Again Believer, would there be enough evidence against you in a court of law to prove it? Now think about it, thats not as easy to do as it may sound. Sure, we all have neighbors who we see on Sunday dress up and go to Church. We might even know a few who volunteer for stuff at Church from time to time. But could you accuse them of being believers, or even born again believers just on these simple merits? I mean the rest of the week they are just like you and me, indistinguishable in every way. They go to work, come home, watch T.V., grab a beer or two, . Im pretty sure in a court of law more proof would be required to accuse these people of being Born Again Christians then them just going to Church on Sunday and doing some volunteer work. Do they act different? Do they talk different? Heres one I like, could you call them Jesus Freaks, always talking about Jesus, or maybe saying things like, you ever give any thought as to where youll spend eternity? Why is it that there is such a compulsion in our time for people to so readily use the L_rds name in vain in such a casual way that we just readily except it? Im sure you know somebody that just about every other word has the L_rds name spewing out of their mouths like some drunken sailor. And its not just adults

but kids as well! Now who are they using as an example to have such a trash mouth on them at such an early age? I dont even think you can watch one secular film that is void of profanity on some level. It is as if you are proclaiming to the world, I am not a Christian , I am not a believer, I dont care what the L_rd did for me! Its as if by using the L_rds name in such a manner gives what ever you are saying more power or more credence by doing so! And I have even asked people not to speak like that, using my saviors name as a curse, and either Im told to not listen, mind my own business, or it really doesnt mean anything! Now then theres the rub. It doesnt really mean anything. More people will give that answer than any other! They feel it is so commonly used that it really doesnt mean anything any more, its just an expletive that everyone uses from time to time and since everybody else does it . , I can even go so far as to say people of other religions use the L_rds name as a expletive, but my contention is, have you ever heard anybody do the same thing with the devils name? I havent. Oh Ive heard people blame everything under the sun on the Devil, but never heard his name used in the manner the L_rds name is used. Why is that? What would you say? Devil Dam? Satan Dam? You know it doesnt even sound right! And it sure doesnt roll off the tongue right! Ill put it to you this way, .. would you use the name of someone you loved as a curse. No you wouldnt, because their name means something to you, and they mean something to you, and Im pretty sure you men out there that if someone used your honeys name like that youd be in a fist fight or worse! Think about it! You dont curse someone you LOVE! You know we are born into sin. We are naturally hateful toward G_d. Most dont want to hear about, or even care about our saviors death on the cross and the forgiveness of our sins through His blood that was poured out at Calvary. And yet when you hear these people using the L_rds name like that they just dont realize

that they are using the most precious name ever, to spew out their very hate of HIM! If we look at John chapter 8 :42. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47. He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Look at James 3: 5. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 7. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8. But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Some men curse G_d at every opportunity, but I praise HIM, for HIS name is the sweetest name I know!! Now you know why men dont use Satans name like they use the L_rds name, or as the great news caster Paul Harvey would say, and now you know the rest of the story!
