CONTRAST!

The state of being strikingly different from something else, typically something in juxtaposition or close association. Contrast allows us to emphasize what is most important.!

REPETITION!

The recurrence of an object or event. Repetition can create consistency and show that different things are related.!

ALIGNMENT!

This allows elements to create visual connections ! to one another; it intentionally creates order.!

PROXIMITY!

Nearness in space or relationship. By placing similar types of information close to one another, these things become more of a visual unit.!
