*** 728ULT control panels labeled with ECO# C016 (see sticker on back of board) do not support the 2-wire smoke detector feature. *** 2-wire Smoke Detector Support Address 086 key [BYP] Input 3 can be defined as a 2-wire smoke detector input. If a line short occurs or the smoke detector activates, whether the system is armed or disarmed, the control panel will generate an alarm. If the line "opens", a "fire loop" trouble will be reported to the central monitoring station and the trouble indicator, key [11], will illuminate in the keypad's trouble display. With ATZ disabled, the two-wire smoke detector will be recognized as zone 3 (connected to input 3 with no ATZ = zone 3). With ATZ enabled, the two-wire smoke detector will be recognized as zone 5 (connected to input 3 with ATZ = zone 5). To define input 3 as a 2-wire smoke detector input: 1. Turn ON the [BYP] key in address 086.

2. Connect the 2-wire smoke detector as shown below using a 1k9 EOL resistor.

Please note that each 728 Ultra control panel can only support a maximum of five 2-wire smoke detectors.

2-wire Smoke Detector Reset To conduct a 30-second reset, press and hold the [CLEAR] and [ENTER] keys on any keypad for three seconds.

Battery Disconnect Circuit When there is no AC power and the backup battery voltage is too low, the control panel will cut power from the backup battery to prevent it from completely discharging. This protects the backup battery from damage.

Note que cada central 728 Ultra slo puede aceptar un mximo de cinco detectores de humo de 2 cables.

Reinicializacin (Reset) del Detector de Humo de 2 cables Para efectuar una reinicializacin de 30 segs, mantenga pulsadas las teclas [BORRAR] y [ENTRAR] en cualquier teclado durante tres segundos.

Battery Disconnect Circuit Cuando no hay suministro elctrico y el voltaje de la batera de respaldo es demasiado bajo, la central cortar la alimentacin desde la batera para evitar que sta se descargue completamente. Esto evita que la batera sufra averas.
