(989) 463-7988 griffin@alma.edu Head of the Alma College softball program since 1989, Denny Griffin has quickly built the Scots into a national contender. In Dennys 25 years at the helm of the Scots, he has tallied an overall record of 761-265, which ranks him the fifth Winningest Division III Coach All-time and 16th among Winningest Coaches All-time at an NCAA school by percentage. His teams have never finished lower than third in the conference standings and have won 13 MIAA titles. Additionally, 17 of his last 20 teams have qualified for the NCAA tournament.

camp philosophy
This camp develops the players fundamental skills in the game of softball. Lectures, drill work and games will help the player in individual development of throwing, catching, batting and running. The ultimate goal of the camp is to have fun while playing fast pitch softball.

(989) 463-7988 brandee.west@gmail.com Brandee West is in her 13th year as head junior varsity coach. She graduated from Alma College in 2000. She garnered All-American honors her senior year and was the conference batting champion her junior and senior seasons.
location
The camp will be held on the Alma College softball field located behind the Hogan Center. mike doran
(989) 463-7385 mdoran@alma.edu Mike Doran joined the staff of the Alma College softball program in 2007. Prior to this, Doran coached 31 successful seasons at the high school level at Ithaca (Mich.) and East Lee Co. (Fla). In 2002, he was named the assistant coach of the year in Michigan and was inducted into the Michigan High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2003. Alma College softball players will also be helping with the camp.
