COURSE WORK
The list of subjects from which the candidates can choose for PhD course work is given below:

Please note: a) The Candidates holding M. Tech./MBA/LLM degree has to complete a minimum of four (04) courses. b) The candidates holding with B. Tech./Masters Degree in Science/Commerce/Economics/Law or those candidates who have been upgraded from M. Tech./MBA/LLM has to complete a minimum of six (06) courses. c) The prescribed courses shall normally be completed within two academic semesters by the research scholars. d) The Research scholar shall obtain at least 50% marks in each individual course and at least 60% marks in aggregate across all the courses or an equivalent grade to successfully complete the course work. e) Candidates selected for externally registered PhD program in Engineering/Science will be required to get the research laboratory where they wish to conduct the research work approved from the Head Centre for Continuing Education. Such approval needs to be obtained before a candidate presents his/her synopsis. f) The Academic calendar is given below for information:

AWARD OF DEGREE
g) You are required to submit the Examination Form for both the semesters (January/July) by November 1/ June 1 for the course work papers. The Examination Form can be downloaded from our website: http://cce.upes.ac.in/CCE/download.html h) The date sheet will be uploaded on our website (http://cce.upes.ac.in) 20 days before the Examination for January/July semesters.
