    Statement on the Inauguration of the Second General Assembly

    I would like to extend a hand of gratitude to outgoing speaker Afifeh Alaween and all outgoing
    delegates for their service to the student body. It is with great humility that I accept the Office of
    Speaker of the Student Association of the General Assembly. The new Delegates and I eagerly
    await the opportunity to serve our fellow students as their voice to the University.
