Child Protection Committee and Implementation of the Child Protection Action Plan Reports

In pursuant to DepEd order No. 40, s. 2012, entitled * DepEd child Prctection Policy', issued by DepEd Secretary, Br. Armin A. Luistro, FSC on May 14, 2012, our
division conducted OrientatioeSeminar on Child Protection for all public elementary and secondary school heads on October 15 and 16,2012 at Cenm Pastoral and a followup seminar entitled Child Protection Mechsnism conducted on November 26, 2012 which was participated by some selected school heads and guidance counselors at Grand
Astoria Hotel.

Action Plans were formulated by the participants in these seminars.

Furthermore, based from the Child Protection Committee (CPC) Report submitted last calendar year 2012, this office found out that all elementary schools and majority of the secondary schools submitted this report. Our office appreciates it. However, some schools submitted this report just in hand written / lack / incorrect composition of the committee.

To facilitate fast, concise, presentable, functional CPC and to determine how far the implementation of the Action Plan has been reached, each districU secondary school must submit Child Prutection Committee and Implementation of the Child Protection Action PIan Reports. Please use the attached formats for the reports. Therefore, elementary schools need to submit the Child Protection Committee and Implementation of the Child Protection Action Plan Reports to the district for
consolidation of the CPC and compilation of the latter.
