Kay Rolland, formerly in management posts with The Wall Street Journal Europe and the International Herald Tribune. Also former Publisher of Where-MagazineParis, who has now started her own company as an independent advertising representative. *10:30 am- 11:45 am - Business Leadership and the Media, Adrian Dearnell. Founder and CEO of Eurobusiness Media. Formerly of Bloomberg News. 11:45 am 2:30 pm - Free time for Lunch and time to get to UNESCO *3:00 pm - 4:30 pm - Visit to UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) at US Ambassadors Residence. Meeting with Ambassador David Killion. Late Afternoon - Free Evening: *7:00 pm - Reception in a unique Parisian setting, the home of Nancy and Richard Asthalter, one of Pariss pace-setting couples. Richard headed the law offices of Sullivan and Cromwell in Paris for many years and served as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in France. Nancy has worked with University of Paris and was Academic Director in the field of international student exchange. Discussion of "Developing World Media Perspectives." With AUP international media students who will talk about their countries, cultures and career plans in the media field. Speakers will include human rights activist Maha Assabalani a Yemeni citizen of Iranian origin who fled Syria last year after the organization she worked for was raided by the Syrian security police officers (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/22/world/europe/22iht-letter22.html?emc=eta1&_r=0) as well as Tendayi Chirawu from Zimbabwe who will discuss the upcoming elections in Zimbabwe (http://www.guardian.co.uk/global-development/2013/feb/27/zimbabwe-police-ban-radioselections?CMP=twt_gu)

Previously Chief of Staff at the US Ambassador's Residence in Paris. 11:00 am - 12:00 noon - The Media of Art and Culture with Heidi Ellison, Editor of Paris Update and writer for a variety of magazines and newspapers. 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm - Lee Huebner, Professor of Media and Public Affairs at the George Washington University, formerly Publisher and CEO of the International Herald Tribune. Late Afternoon Free Time *Evening - Montmartre Cabaret dinner; meet at Hotel Malar at 7:00 pm to travel together to dinner.
