BATTLENET INSIDE TM
As a medium combat system for current and future battlefields, the VAB Mark III receives the BATTLENET INSIDE innovative electronic architecture designed by Renault Trucks Defense. BATTLENET INSIDE is based on open, standardized and proven COTS solutions coming from the IP technologies: Switched Ethernet, SNMP administration, Voice over IP, MPEG4 video standard, Open Source developments. The BATTLENET INSIDE Ethernet backbone is made of: 2 Ethernet switches Optic fiber network IP interfaces

and 30 years of experience with the famous VAB family.

- 6x6 with independant suspensions, - powerfull Renault DXi 7 engine, - automatic gearbox, - limited size (2,55 m width) and weight for urban manoeuvre and airtransport by C-130 (with preparation) or A400M, - options: rear steering axle (turning diameter = 14 m), amphibious kit (GVW 16 tonnes), CTIS, cold starting (-32).
