Use the pictured rectangular arrays to complete the following tasks. 1. Do a gallery walk to answer the following questions. a. Prime numbers are numbers that have exactly two factors. In our activity you would only see one rectangle. Name 3 prime numbers.
b. A composite number is a number that has more than two factors. In our activity, a composite number would have more than one rectangle. Name 5 composite numbers.
c. A square number is a number that you get from multiplying another number by itself. It can also be represented by a square in our activity. For example, 9 is a square number. If you multiply 3 by itself, you get 9. Also, if I make three rows of three I would have a square. Name 3 square numbers.
