FAITHFUL FATHERS ARE BLESSED!

Genesis 12:1-3 (AMP) Now [in Haran] the Lord said to Abram, Go for yourself [for your own advantage] away from your country, from your relatives and your fathers house, to the land that I will show you. 2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others]. 3 And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves].

Not just blessed...but also a blessing We are the seed of father Abraham (Gen 3:29) Blessed: to be empowered; to prosper; to succeed; to increase in favor It is biblically correct for faithful fathers to declare themselves blessed to be a blessing! (vs 3)

2. FAITHFUL FATHERS SPEAK LIFE TO THEIR FAMILY!

Jeremiah 1:5-8 (NKJV) "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." 6 Then said I: "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth." 7 But the LORD said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the LORD.

Blessings are transferred by:

1. Speaking them 2. Laying on of hands 3. Living it out before your family 3. GOD THE FATHER BLESSES FAITHFUL HOUSEHOLDS!
Proverbs 3:33 (AMP) The curse of the Lord is in and on the house of the wicked, but He declares blessed (joyful and favored with blessings) the home of the just and consistently righteous.

Isaiah 65:16a (AMP) So [it shall be] that he who invokes a blessing on himself in the land shall do so by saying, May the God of truth and fidelity [the Amen] bless me; Ephesians 1:2-3 (NKJV) Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Position is more important than condition If God be for you...etc, etc This is Bible...not pride!
Galatians 3:13-14 (NKJV) Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

4. A FAITHFUL FATHERS WORDS ARE POWERFUL!!

Psalm 129:1-8 (NIV) They have greatly oppressed me from my youth-- let Israel say-- 2 they have greatly oppressed me from my youth, but they have not gained the victory over me. 3 Plowmen have plowed my back and made their furrows long. 4 But the LORD is righteous; he has cut me free from the cords of the wicked. 5 May all who hate Zion be turned back in shame. 6 May they be like grass on the roof, which withers before it can grow; 7 with it the reaper cannot fill his hands, nor the one who gathers fill his arms. 8 May those who pass by not say, "The blessing of the LORD be upon you; we bless you in the name of the LORD."

Declare blessings over your family (we are called to do this). You will inherit a blessing (they

your familyand their behavior will be your blessings).
