Khalil sent an email to his friend about what he did during the holidays. Now let me tell you about my holidays During the holidays, my classmates and I participated in a social service programme organised by the Interact Club. We visited an orphanage and spruced up the place. We painted the gates and the walls. It took us six hours to complete the job. The next day we helped them clear the compound. We cut the grass, fixed the fence and repaired broken items like tables and benches. Later we trimmed the hedges and shrubs. On the last day, we had a gathering. We brought food and drinks from home. The orphans were so grateful for our kind deeds. We had a great sing-along session. I felt happy and satisfied for having spent my time meaningfully.
