Kaleidoscope Doily

Designed b y Jul ie A. Bo lduc Even though I used a solid color to make this doily, I combined net stitch with filet crochet for a very unique kaleidoscope- like design. If you have ever done painting on doilies, you could actually color this to look like a true kaleidoscope design. Materials Needed size 10 crochet cotton Southmaid in color number 458 Purple was used in the example Size 7 steel crochet hook Tapestry needle spray starch Yarn Thickness: 10thread Gauge: 10 sc = 1" Finished Size: 9" diam Skill Level: Intermediate Instructions RND 1: Ch6, join w/slst to first ch to form ring.
