I have chosen this article because the article itself tells us about the education system in Indonesia which concerns me because Im myself a student. This article give us suggestion about what we should do in order to make a better graduate or make the education system to be better and by that developing this country. 4. Explain briefly in four or five sentences what the article is about. The article is about the education system in Indonesia. Some people said that good education will help us to have a better life, while others said that good education does not guarantee a better life. The door is often firmly shut to job seekers who have good education but lack either the prerequisites or the connections or both. The way the system is designed; all three of the education levelselementary, secondary, and tertiary should prepare students to compete on a higher and more professional level. In order to achieve such goals, everyone involvedfrom the National Education Ministry to curriculum administrators and parents has to play an active role. 5. What is the writers message or purpose in writing this article? The writers purpose in writing this article is to tell the readers about the education system in Indonesia and how to make it better in order to create a learned generations who possess enough knowledge to enter the global competition.

6. Give your personal comment on the article as a conclusion of your article review. The education system in Indonesia is lack of facilities, especially for public schools, which unable the students to access information, practice their knowledge, and follow up on their studies to learn. Another problem is that the curriculums in Indonesia mostly force the students to excel at something, unlike the Western curriculum in the international schools which relying on a different process of studying. If we want to make a better graduate that have good knowledge to enter the global competition, the curriculum has to be changed in a way that will accommodate the students interest and there has to be an active role from everyone involvedfrom the National Education Ministry to curriculum administrators and parents.
