National Select 7on7 Championship Series June 17, 2013

Dublin, OH The Ohio High School Football Coaches Associations (OHSFCA) is hosting a National Select 7on7 Championship Series Qualifying Tournament Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, OH. Thirty-six top High School Football Programs from Ohio and West Virginia will battle it out in the one-day event for a chance to play in the National Select 7on7 Championships presented by Under Armour in Hoover, AL, July 24-26. The National Select 7on7 Tournament is considered by many to be the best tournament in the Nation. It is well organized, at a great location, with some of the best teams in the nation participating Mike Mauk, Kenton High School Head Football Coach and OHSFCA State 7on7 Coordinator, says. The format of the tournament is well planned. They have tremendous sponsors that provide the best products on the market. We are honored to have the opportunity to provide a Qualifying Tournament for this great event. The OHSFCA State 7on7 Qualifying Tournament will kick-off with pool play, and end with a singleelimination tournament. Participating teams will be placed in one of four pools based on school size and enrollment. Each teams win percentage from pool play will determine seeding for the single-elimination tournament to be held in the afternoon. We have put the same effort into modeling our tournament like the one held at Hoover. We have five OHSFCA officials for each contest, and we have 36 of the best teams in Ohio and West Virginia participating. Mauk says. This Qualifying Tournament is one of 13 events to be held this summer throughout the U.S. The winner from each of the Qualifying Tournaments has the option to play in the National Select 7on7 Championships. The National Select 7on7 Championships is the premier team 7on7 event in the Nation; which brings together top High School Football Programs and many Division-1 prospects for two-days of competitive play. Schools participating in the 2013 OHSFCA State 7on7: Ashtabula Edgewood, Bellefontaine, Bishop Hartley, Briggs, Bucyrus, Centerburg, Clear Fork, Clinton Massie, Coal Grove, Columbus West, Columbus Whetstone, Defiance, Dublin Coffman, Dublin Jerome, Galion, Hamilton Township, Jonathan Alder, Kenton, Minster, Nelsonville York, Northridge, Olentangy, Olentangy Liberty, Pandora-Gilboa, Reynoldsburg, South Charleston, Turpin, Upper Sandusky, Triad, Urbana, Wayne Trace, West Geauga, West Liberty Salem, Western Brown, and Zanesville.
