RESTORE DATA This feature only works for one user profile at once and only for local system drive. Start Fab's AutoBackup 4 Tech. Check the "Restore data" radio button :

Type the path to your backup folder or use the browse button to select it :

Click the "Next" button.

24

Select on each tab the items you want to restore. Note : there are some items with restoration options : Mozilla Firefox profile(s), Mozilla Thunderbird profile(s), additional files and additional folders. Here are them : Mozilla Firefox profiles can be restored at their original locations (if the profile has not been stored in the default directory). If the source Firefox version is not the same as the destination's, there is a compatibility mode that restores only the profile, without the add-ons (they may be incompatibles and cause Firefox crashes). Mozilla Thunderbird profiles restoration feature works exactly the same way as the Mozilla Firefox restoration feature. Additional files and folders can be restored at their original locations or you can choose another one.

Be careful : if you choose to restore to the original location, be sure that the original path is available from your computer. Otherwise, restore your files using other options.
Once completed your selections, you can launch the backup process by clicking the "Launch" button within the "Custom / Launch" tab. During the restoration process, there may be some copy errors. Be sure that no application is running and lock the target files, then try to restore again. At the end of the restore process, the log will show a message saying that restoration job is finished. The restoration log file is stored on your desktop. You can check it if there were errors. Your restoration is done! Note : if the restored data are from a backup job with several users account involved, you will have to restore common files like separately. Just start the program again and select the backup folder named like "YYYY-MM-DD-COMMON" and start the restoration process.
