Welcome to the Circle New Members Susan Bellomo and Maureen Visser
Susan, a retired bookkeeper, joined Giving Hope after attending a couple of events with her daughter, Jennifer Belveal, a member of our Advisory Board. Now that her husband has retired, the two plan to spend fewer winters in Michigan! Maureen, a Canton elementary teacher of 28 years, was not a member when she volunteered to serve on the Give the Girls a Boost committee, but was drawn in by the focus on women and children She has two daughters and wants to be an example for them of how to give back to the community.
Mark your calendars for October 9, for the annual meeting of the Giving Circle. Carol Goss, President and CEO of the Skillman Foundation, is the keynote speaker. We will conduct a short Giving Circle business update and meeting. A social hour with gourmet appetizers by Chef Paul will round out the evening.
