11 A New World New Sky and New Land (Red letters do not record) Introduction The world was

s dismayed by the First World War. The world does not want to repeat the atrocities of World War II. The world will never be the same after the tragedy of September 11th. The world will not forget what was done Southeast Asia. It is not just about the great calamities, it is about the suffering and the problems of human beings. People with spiritual injuries, driven to despair by diverse circumstances. (Murders, violence, death, isolation, illness, pain, loss...) Who solves these problems? Our world. We can say that it has matured. After ideological changes in humanity, trial and error, today in the 21st century, the world has opened the door to a new future gained by the experiences after the world wars, the fall of Russian communism and the tendency toward globalization. We could say that we aim for a New World Order. Orientation toward a united world economy, and why not, one currency, one language, one culture to facilitate transactions and perhaps, one religion? Which is the future? What challenges await humanity? What has man sown? What are we going to reap? The present economy Today we know these consequences for the world. Few know the injustices of capitalism, the source of inhumane working conditions and the exploitation of women and children with work shifts of 14 to16 hours. Over time, different governments stepped in to regulate capitalism in the history of industrial development in the 18th and 19th centuries. Capitalism created few rich and the most poor in all of history. It is accused of creating the conditions of the Second World War, and why not some of the large wars of the 19th and 20th centuries? Selfishness and ones own benefit are the roots of this system. The Great Depression of 1929 and the benefits offered to managers in the decade of the 90's reveal the greed of the lovers of wealth that degenerated into corruption and various scandals that have created instability and distrust in world governments. The cases of Enron, WorldCom and Tyco, among others; Scandals and instability in a world where poverty is more globalized than the market. Capitalism, like no other system, had never produced so much wealth, and had never been so poorly distributed (*1). In the beginning of the 21st century, poverty is one of the greatest problems of the world, and it appears that the rich worry about the poor simply because they turn out to be too expensive. Not all is bad of course; capitalism is responsible for development everywhere, scientific advances, the cities, and present world conditions. At the beginning of our century, the driving force of economy was the dollar, and in a globalized economy, other factors are involved, such as the price of petroleum. These together with the behavior of the worlds economy, the European Union and Japan, will determine the economic conditions for developing countries. Any war, social instability, or natural disaster will jeopardize in different ways the recovery of the economy, sustainable development, and the decrease of poverty. The axiom that first one must generate wealth, so that later, automatically, it will arrive at the lowest sectors, has shown its results. The investigation, carried out first in 1960, was repeated in 1990. In these 30 years, 20% of the richest countries increased their participation in world wealth from 70.2% to 82.7%; while 20% of the poorest decreased, dropping from 2.3% to 1.4%. If in 1960 the wealth of countries from the first group was 30 times higher than the poorest, in 1990 it was 60 times higher. (*2). Today in the United States, the difference between the rich and the poor is increasingly more conspicuous. The cost of a missile would give food to 80,000 children for three years in Africa. World organizations say that with only 6 Euros a month, a girl and her family could have drinking water for the remainder of their lives. In other words, the price of one airplane would

provide thousands of families with drinking water. What would the cost of one single aircraft carrier accomplish if it were invested for the benefit of the most needy nations? Industrialization, from the hand of capitalism, has brought its share of destruction. The effect of global warming is nature's bill for our venerated system of commerce. "Economic globalization, instead of offering benefits for all, has brought the planet to the edge of environmental catastrophe, in the middle of unprecedented social agitation, with the economy of the majority of the countries in shambles, and an increase in poverty, hunger, shortage of land, migration, and social dislocation. Nowadays it can be affirmed that the experiment of globalization is a failure." (*3) The consequences Countries that are industrialized are mainly the ones who have contributed to global warming, along with the out-of-control deforestation of the world. The reduction of forests, the increase of the extinction of species, the melting of the polar ice caps, and the reduction of biodiversity are what we have inherited from industrialization and capitalism. Ecologists say we are about to find out the consequences of planting a single agricultural variety for centuries on earth. It is well known that the sowing of a single vegetable product exhausts the nutrients of land and renders it useless. The use of fertilizers for so many years on eroded land has hidden the consequences for our immediate future. After exploiting the land, capitalists abandoned it, leaving the people unemployed and the land useless. Even the general secretary of the UN, Kofi Annan himself, has expressed his concern in each opening of the meetings of the Earth Summit, and he emphasizes the failure of the nations to keep their commitment to reduce the environmental impact. We all know that global warming means more intense droughts, floods by rain, stronger hurricanes, disappearance of snow-covered and glacial areas, the rise of sea level because of the melting of the poles, all this with severe consequences that mankind is beginning to see. Disasters increasingly more frequent, the collapse of economies because of national catastrophes that could even leave countries in ruin. Even if we stopped using fossil fuels today, the consequences of the climate that man has damaged would continue for 50 more years. Crisis According to the United Nations, one out of every five people in the world does not have access to drinking water, while around 2.4 billion lack adequate conditions of health. In turn, the World Bank estimates that by the year 2035, half of the world population will live in countries where there will be serious problems because of lack of water. And the world keeps getting worse. The volume of half of the rivers everywhere has diminished or has been contaminated, and the water towers in the aquifers have become a serious problem in regions like India, China, West Asia, the Middle East, the former Soviet Union, and the western part of the United States. Seven of the largest rivers in the world no longer have access to the sea, while more than 500 lakes in China have disappeared due to the strong demand for irrigation. The World Bank indicates that by the year 2025, 48 countries will have in their entirety a population of 1.4 billion and will experience serious problems because of the shortage of water; significantly more than the 29 countries with a population of 436 million people, which was estimated in 1995. In 30 years, unless measures are taken, half of the world population will suffer from lack of water according to the World Bank. But what about the fishing reserves, the problem of garbage, the contamination of rivers... and the list would be longer if we added the people killed by urban and family violence, the illnesses and epidemics such as SARS or atypical pneumonia, AIDS and cancer; aviary fever, mad cow and the new plagues and epidemics that men and animals will share, thanks to global warming, which the industrial development of capitalism has left us. The situation that God warned us about in Matthew chapter 24 will be hastened by floods, fires, earthquakes, and epidemics. We need a passport to another world!

Judgment of the economic model Man has shown himself incapable of managing a world under sin. It was not in Gods plan that His creation would be destroyed, that there would be injustice, exploitation or accumulated wealth in the hands of a few because of oppression of many. God knew that these iniquities would be the source of great evil. What will God do to solve planet Earths problems? What will He do about the wealth in the hands of few? About the injustices committed, the violence, and the environmental collapse of our planet? Wealth and social injustice - James 5: 1-6.Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. 3Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. 5Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. 6Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. Environmental collapse: Romans 8: 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also Wealth and poverty: The ruin, the fall, the end of capitalism and the environmental collapse are announced in the book of Revelation chapter 18:9 24 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 11And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate 21And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all 23And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 24And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. The only solution Gods solution. Revelation 21:1-8 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6And he said unto me, it is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death

The New Jerusalem, the city of God. God knew that man would finally destroy himself, and He warned us in the book of Revelation as written by the apostle John in the year 90, and was consigned from that time, reserved for our days, the judgment of God on humanity. God has offered us love, a solution, and salvation. There is still time to get your passport to the Promised Land. It has its requirements: Repent of all your sins, convert your vain way of living to Jesus way, accept Him as your one and only Savior, and continue His example by keeping His Fathers commandments.
