Aim of the study program

Conditions
(Please make sure to send certified copies of your documents as we cant send back original documents) Completion of an engineering program or a program in computer science or a program in technical computer science at a German university or a comparable degree from an equivalent foreign university with a minimum of 210 ECTS credits. The final grades has to be 2,5 or bether. Solely the examination committee decides whether a particular degree or university is equivalent. successfully completion of the aptitude test

Qualifying Examination

International Automotive Engineering

The objective of the Master Program in International Automotive Engineering is to offer comprehensive knowledge of methods and techniques applied in all phases of the life cycle of modern automobiles. The program concentrates on aspects of development and production. Graduates of the program will be able to quickly assume technical as well as personnel responsibility. Please note: The program is not designed as a General MEng. program which provides general engineering knowledge for people with non-engineering degrees. Solid engineering knowledge is considered as a prerequisite.

Condition: Application in due time and form Proof of qualification requirements The aptitude test: The commission introduces an interview with tasks of basic knowledge of different technical areas. Are there more applications for the program than places available, the aptitude test not takes place. Applications fulfilling the requirements are ranked according to their final grades. Working experience is not taken into consideration. Since the program is more oriented towards mechatronic in case of equal grades applications fulfilling the following criteria are higher ranked: applicants having studied electronical and computer engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics applicants who have passed subjects that show a strong and comprehensive background in control engineering and mechatronics

Sufficient knowledge of the English language, as


certified by a TOEFL test (Test Of English As A Foreign Language) score of at least 530 points (paper based), at least 197 points (computer based) or at least 71 (internet based), or any equivalent certification. This certification is not required of applicants who have completed their secondary school or university degree in the English language or when the applicant is a citizen of a country where English is spoken as a first language.
