LITHUANIANS

( 13th Century ) Die Lithauer entwickelten sich im


13. Jahrhundert zu den Hauptgegnern des Deutschen Ordens. Die Liste umfasst die Unterstmme der Aukstaiciai ( Highlander ) und Samogitiai ( Lowlander ), sowie der verwanden Lettenstmme Semgaler, Lettgaler und Selonier.

ARMY SELECTION
Characters: 0-25% of the points value of the army. Cavalry: 25-100% of the points value of the army. Infantry: 0-33% of the points value of the army. Allies: 0-33% of the points value of the army. Estonians and Kurs, Prussians, Poles, Tartars, Russians, Teutonic Order. AMBUSH: A Lithuanian player may hide one unit out of sight and not in the enemy deployment zone. The concealed unit is revealed after the deployment phase. BARRICADE: The Lituanian player may build a continous barricade of felled trees in his own deployment zone. It costs 5 pst / 1 and may be up to 12 long. It must be placed before the first unit and be manned by troops on foot which must remain stationary in the first round. The barricade counts as defended obstacle and units in base contact count as being behind hard cover from missile fire coming across the barricade.

Equipment: hand weapon, thrusting spear, light armour, shield. May have Javelin (+2). May exchange thrusting spear with bow (+1) when dismounted. May ride a horse or Warhorse (+4). Special Rule: Army General. Stubborn, Stealth, Feignet Flight, Parthian Shot.

Any freemen ( ukininkas ) was able to become a Bajoras if he could afford a war-harness.

Victory Points: For each undefended Wagon at the end of the game, the opponent gains an additional +15 Victory Points.

Equipment: Each Wagon may have up to five defenders with a hand weapon and javelins. Wagon Defenders may have shield (+1), and exchange javelins for a bow ( +1). Wagon Deployment: The Wagons are deployed as one unit and must be placed on the table as the first unit. The Wagons are placed 3 apart in a circle or semicircle, with two Wagons at each end touching the players table edge. The Wagons do not block line of sight. Defender Deployment: All the Defenders are Skirmishers, they count as one unit and may not take a Standard or a Musician. They are placed inside the Wagon circle and may not leave voluntary. As long as they remain inside the Wagon circle, they count as being behind hard cover. The Wagons count as a defended obstacle until the defenders lose a round of close combat.
