Just Around The Corner...

Blessed are you, O Lord who has blessed me with a keen mind; please help me focus while I take this test. Blessed are you, O Lord who holds my children in unconditional love. Try using this form of prayer liberally as a way to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to weave your faith throughout your day. The Newsletter

Be in prayer for our

A New Old Way to Pray An ancient Jewish form of prayer, still in use today, involves sprinkling ones day with short prayers of gratitude to God. The prayer typically begins: Blessed are you, O Lord our God, king of the universe, who and concludes with a phrase that fits the specific situation. Such a prayer works well in good circumstances and bad. For example: Blessed are you, O Lord our God, king of the universe, who has provided clean water for my shower this morning. Blessed are you, O Lord who brings friends to support me in my grief.

Dont Miss Your Chance to Bless and Be Blessed...The Needs are Many Prayer GUIDE for 60 Days of Passionate Prayer
(7 to be listed each week) 22 Thank you, Lord, for resources that lead us in ways and times to pray for missions needs and our missions personnel and their families. 23 Weeks of prayer give us time to pause and focus on Your work. Lord, help us to remain faithful to these times of concentrated prayer and giving. 24 The world is so vast and yet so near. Guide me, Father, to pray continually (1 Thess. 5:17 NIV) for the needs of those in other countries as news comes to me, for national Christians as they walk faithfully with God, for missions personnel who work among them, and for the nations leaders to know You. 25 May I express my gratitude to You, O God, for the courage and faithfulness of thousands of missionaries who through the years have scattered out across our nation and ventured into other countries with the strong and precious gospel of Jesus Christ. 26 Thank You, Lord, for our retired missionaries in North America and around the world. Their strong examples of faithful servanthood inspire us. Minister to them in ways that will bless and encourage them. Remind them what they continue to do in Your name matters. 27 We rejoice in the call You place on our lives. Thank You, Lord, that You have called out individuals to serve as missions personnel in the Northeast US and Canada. 28 In places hardened toward the gospel may our state WMU leaders in the Northeast US and Canada find in You all they need to lead churches to stretch and reach. (Call their names if you know them.)

The minister cried, "What a wonderful example of the handiwork of God!" The cowboy mused, "What a terrible place to lose a cow!"
