(Psalm 16:11) Journeys are not always easy, especially the journey of life. What are some challenges that you have faced on your pilgrimage of life? How did you overcome them? In the Gospel story, Jesus encounters people who are unwelcoming, people who have other things to do before following him. Is there anything holding you back from following the way of Christ? 327 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. A

Holy Hour will give you more strength during life and more consolation at the hour of your death and eternity. The office will reopen for business on Monday, July 8. Holy Hour For Life: First Friday, July 5, at 11:00am. Join us near the Sacred Heart to pray, prior to the 12:05 Mass. Please make sure to sign in at the Holy Hour table. Cards Anyone? Because of the Holiday, Euchre has been moved to July 12. Games begin at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria. A lite meal will be provided. Beginners and experienced players are welcome to come and try a hand. Come and enjoy an evening of fellowship. Today we support the Holy Father in his charitable works. The Peters Pence Collection is taken up worldwide to support the most disadvantaged; victims of war, oppression, and natural disasters and others in need of emergency assistance. Be a pilgrim of charity please be generous in todays Collection. Immaculate Conception Parish is heading to the Akron Aeros vs Altoona Curve Baseball Game on Friday, July 12. Anyone interested in joining our Cluster Parish on this outing, reservations must be into Immaculate Conception by July 1. Ticket prices are $7.00 each, game time is at 7:05pm. For reservations, contact Grace at 330-753-8429. Plans for the The St. Augustine Luau scheduled for Sunday, August 25 following the 10:30am Mass is well underway. Raffle tickets were placed in the bulletin last weekend, dont missout on the opportunity to be the big winner of $5,000. Two earlybird drawings will be held, one July 28 and one August 4. Volunteers are always needed, the next volunteer meeting is scheduled Wednesday, June 26 at 6:30PM in Cafeteria, hope to see you there. Basket items are coming in: Anyone wishing to donate items for the themed baskets can drop them off at the Rectory during regular business hours. Basket themes are: Red, White & Blue (Patriotic items), Kitchen, Wine, Sports Fan, Baby Shower, Italian, Mexican, Back to School & Couples Night out. T-shirts will be available soon, they will be sold for $8.00 each. Lets make this event fun for everyone! Aloha! VB SW N E S! The crafts are put away, stories have been long read, and the music still
rings in our ears. Another year of Vacation Bible School has come to a close. Colossal Coaster World: Facing Fears, Trusting God was a wonderful success with more than 100 participants ages two and a half through sixth grade. This year we had over sixty helpers, the number of people growing closer to God was colossal. Thank you to all who made VBS such a fun time this year, as always, it could not have been possible without the love and dedication you provided. The following volunteers have been returning for more than 10 years, both as participants then volunteers, or have begun as volunteers; Hunter Contos, Katie Ebner, Melanie Richards, Brooke Richards and Celeste Gable. Those with more than 15

years of dedication; Laurie Palmer, Natalie White, Cara Cook and Becky Barker, we look forward to many more years together! Thank you!
