Intern I had a month at the news review desk during which I researched and wrote stories including models used in the governments scrounger/striver advert and pitched ideas to heads of other departments. The Courier, Scotland June 2012 Intern I worked for a month as a reporter at a newspaper in Dundee and researched/wrote stories including the Dalai Lamas snub of Alex Salmond and an investigation into Scotlands infidelity hotspots. Thomson Reuters, London July 2011 Intern I worked for 2 weeks in the editorial department of Sweet & Maxwell, where I edited law loose leafs and advised on page layouts. Random House June 2011 Intern I worked in the editorial department for a month and liaised with authors and other departments in preparation for Frankfurt 2011. I was also asked to offer ideas for marketing campaigns and edit ePub books and paperbacks.
