Automation of Bottle Filling System Using Conveyors

This Project is used in Bottling Plants like Coca-Cola, Pepsi etc to fill the Beverages into the bottle automatically. The empty bottles are moved in the conveyor Belt and with the help of proximity sensors we can detect the position and stop the movement of the belt. Then a relay is energized to actuate the flow of Liquid. The flow is stopped when a maximum level is detected through another sensor (IR LEDs). After filling the conveyor movement starts again and this process gets repeated. In this same project we can have Fire protection system (i.e.) when any fire accident is detected in that area immediately a relay is energized to pour the water on fire to put off the fire. This project is divided into modules for better understanding of the circuit. The modules include PIC Microcontroller Board Optocoupler with Stepper Driver Board Stepper Power Supply Board Relays Mechanical Model PIC Microcontroller Board This is the board which contains PIC Microcontroller Chip as well as the clock Circuitry, Reset Circuit and Power Supply for the Microcontroller.

Optocoupler With Stepper Driver Board. The need of Optocoupler is to isolate the Microcontroller Board form the Stepper Motor to restrict any high voltage to the Microcontroller board. And this board also contains stepper Driver circuit to amplify the Voltage and to withstand high current because the pulse coming out from the Microcontroller is not tough enough to drive the Motor. Stepper Power Supply This board contains the power Supply for the stepper motor and relay driver. Fire Sensor: An LDR is used as a fire sensor in this project. Mechanical Model ` A mechanical model is built with the help of stepper motor like a conveyor.
