C.L.I.F 2 Preview
On the 16th of February, a group of cadets went for the drama preview of CLIF 2 at Singapore Polytechnic. Each alphabet in CLIF represents the Singapore Police Force, C is for courage, L is for loyalty, I is for integrity and F is for fairness. The 1st episode of the show and a short clip which previewed all the 20 episodes was shown during the preview. Joanne Peh, Qi Yu Wu and Jayley Woo also showed up at the preview. Everyone had a good time and looked forward to watching the show.
Last Saturday, 16th February, some of my squad mates/seniors, together with Daniel sir and I went for CLIF 2 drama preview at Singapore Polytechnic. I went for this drama preview not only because Im a fan of the show but also CLIF means Courage, Loyalty, Integrity & Fairness, All of us take for granted thinking that Singapore is safe. Efficient and in-corrupted police is one of the reasons that Singapore is safe. I was pretty excited for the preview as the drama is back for Season 2 with more action filled scenes & romance and Im a big fan of Rui En. But unfortunately, Rui En was not able to attend. The artistes that took their time off & came to SP are Joanne Peh, Qi Yu Wu & Jayley Woo. Im looking forward to the new show because there are new actresses & actors joining the drama. During the preview, we were showed the 1st episode of the drama & also a short clip of all the exciting parts in the 20 episodes. But sadly, there were no English subtitles for both the 1st episode & the short clip. Although there were no subtitles, I still enjoyed the show. And of course we did not went home empty handed, we received a bag of goodies which includes a CLIF 2 posters and items of their sponsors. By CPL Faizah Johari

This year was also a special one for BBSS NPCC as our Principal, Mrs Lysia Kee was present at the parade to receive the Gold award for the annual UOPA assessment. Once again, we would like to congratulate all cadets, TOs, HOs and CIs for the tremendous effort put in over the past year.

Area 4 Games Day 2013
The Area 4 Games Day was held at Whitley Secondary School on 1 Jun 2013 and several schools participated in the event. Our school took part in the Ultimate Frisbee segment of the games day. It was really fun and engaging experience and allowed the cadets to get to know more people from area 4. The event also provided an opportunity for the cadets to bond and give their best together. As the end of the day, all of the cadets expressed that they were glad that they were able to participate in the Area 4 Games Day and hope to be able to go for such activities again.
I had a lot of fun and I got to know my seniors more. I learnt that teamwork is a very important aspect when playing a game as all the other games including the game we played needed teamwork and cooperation. Compromising is also very important as we need to choose who should be the reserve during the game and so is honesty as well as if we did something wrong but the referee didn't know, it would have been wrong. I had a lot of fun talking with my seniors and taking photos with them and I got to know them better. I felt that I could have participated more actively in the game. The game was hard to play as first as I did not really play it during my free time, but I got used to it and so I started to get the hang of the game, which makes me realize that practicing really can help in certain situations be improve and become better at a certain thing for example, playing Frisbee. The game requires communication between each other as well so that we will know who the Frisbee would be thrown to. It was tiring after the game but having the experience of playing it and learning how to play a new game makes the tiredness and the traveling time worth it. By LCP Verlin Wee
