Marine Science Streamlined Pace Chart

1. SUBMITTING YOUR PACE CHART: There are several options for completing and submitting your chart.
Option 1: Copy and paste your desired pace chart (select all and copy) and paste into your text editor (word, etc.). Fill out your pace as instructed below. Then, save and submit your completed pace chart as a file attachment in the assessment area. Option 2: Print out your pace chart. Fill out your pace as instructed below. Then, scan your completed pace chart and submit it as a file attachment in the assessment area.

2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING IN YOUR PACE CHART. You will need a calendar to complete the chart:

For the first week, determine the date you started this is your official activation date in the course (you
will know this once you complete your welcome call.) Then count 7 days including that date (usually the following Sunday). This will be the date you need to put in the Completed By column for week 1. For each week following, record the date 7 days later (will be the same day of the week for every week on the chart). You will fill that in at the beginning before your submit the pace chart. Have one of your parents/guardian review your pace chart with you. Then either type in your parents/guardian name or if scanning/faxing, they sign the pace chart. Then you type your name/sign the chart and submit it to your teacher via the option method you chose above.

It is your responsibility to keep up with your pace. You are REQUIRED to work EACH and EVERY week. You should complete the assignments for each week in order and not skip around or skip assignments unless you are instructed to do so.
