baseman David Wright was elected by the fans to start the 84th AllStar Game to be played at Citi Field on July 16...Righthanded
pitcher Matt Harvey will join Wright on the National League All-Star
team...Harvey was named to his first All-Star team in a vote by
managers, coaches and players.

become the second Met to start an All-Star Game in his home
ballpark...Ron Hunt started at second base when Shea Stadium
