July 2013 Dear Friend, On behalf of Center for Asian Americans United for Self Empowerment (CAUSE), I write to ask for your support of this years Women in Power Annual Luncheon. It will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the California Club in Downtown Los Angeles (538 South Flower Street, 90071). This year, we have the honor of hosting prominent women leaders, including former U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis and CA State Attorney General Kamala Harris. This years Women in Power theme focuses on encouraging young minority women to pursue careers in politics and public service. The Women in Power program was established to encourage the next generation of women to aspire to higher levels of influence in their careers, as well as develop leaders with a heart for public service. Many influential, high-profile women in the political, legal, business, and civic fields have been invited to share their stories and experiences to the future generation of young leaders. Enclosed is a list of sponsorship opportunities, which we hope you will consider. Over 200 guests are expected to attend this years annual luncheon and seats will fill fast, so please respond by Wednesday, July 17th, if you are interested in supporting this program. Deadline to submit ads: Wednesday, July 17, 2013 All ad materials, which includes artwork and text, must be sent via email. To ensure the best representation of your ad, we ask that you please follow these guidelines:

Sponsorship Ad Specifications

Text-only ads can be sent as an attached MSWord document.We will create a design for you. We work with both PC and Macintosh operating systems and can access Microsoft Office files and Adobe files Acrobat(.pdf), Photoshop (.psd), InDesign (.indd), and Illustrator(.ai) Image files(logos, photographs)should be in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format. Image files created in MSWord, PowerPoint,or Excel will not be accepted Image files must be high-resolution All PC fonts used should be outlined or convertedto paths. Also,font namesshould be emailed along with your artwork When sending your logo via email, do not encode or encrypt the files; simply send them as an attachment. Name files accordingly with your company or organizations name, the name of the person submitting the ad, and the date that you sent your file, example: CompanyName_John_03.22.2013.jpg If you would like a proof, you must submit your request in writing to sophia@causeusa.org
