With direct flights from Bangor to New York, the Big Apple is only 50 minutes away! The campus includes more than 24 kilometers of walking, hiking, biking or cross-country skiing trails. The campus was designed by legendary landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed Central Park in New York City.

The Pre-Masters Program


The Pre-Masters Program (PMP) is for students who have met the academic requirements of the University of Maine, but who need additional English language and academic support to prepare for graduate studies. This one- or two-semester program combines English for academic purposes, study skills for graduate level coursework and orientation into the U.S. university system.
