LOCATION
The school is located on Eastern Point overlooking historic Gloucester Harbor. Just 200 meters from a family beach. The location is one of the most scenic in New England. Gloucester is famous for its working shing village, historic harbor, art colonies, recreational boating facilities and lovely beaches. Most of the housing and host families are within easy walking distance to the campus. Gloucester has an excellent public transportation system and is on the main commuter rail to downtown Boston. Eastern Point gets its name from being situated on the eastern most point on Cape Ann, just north of Boston. Because Cape Ann is surrounded by the Atlantic ocean on three sides, it enjoys the nest weather in New England cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Educating Children for the 21st Century Eastern Point Day School brings its curriculum of language arts, science, mathematics and social studies to life with a multitude of experiential learning opportunities. Our eld learning programs expand and enhance students academic experience on and off campus at the Cape Ann Museum, Maritime Heritage Center, Sawyer Free Library, Cape Ann Cable Television and Kestrel Educational Adventures. Students expand their academic horizons with weekly lessons from specialists in music, art, drama, dance, physical education, and creative movement.

Eastern Point Day School is committed to providing our students with the skills to be successful in the 21st century. This take place in a meaningful, experiential based learning environment where we are focused on the following areas: Core Academic Subjects focusing on a classical education in language arts, math, science, history, civics, geography, art, music, drama, Spanish and physical education.
