Post-Game Quotes
ANGELS MANAGER MIKE SCIOSCIA: How was Saunders able to keep the Angels hitters off balance? Just like the last time he pitched against us he had good stuff. His velocity is bouncing back from where it was the last couple years, threw strikes, pitched ahead in the count, and it kept us off balance. He pitched a good game for those guys. Jerome has struggled the last few times out. Do you see any change in his role moving forward? Right now were a little banged up waiting for some guys to come back. Jerome has hit a little rough patch in the last three starts but I think some simple adjustments hopefully hell get back to where he needs to be. Out of the 17 hitters he faced, he must have been hitting counts with almost all of them, it was tough. He pitched behind the count far too many times for what you want to see him do and he paid a price for it.
