SCICOMATH CLUB NARRATIVE REPORT

June 2012 There are 21 students who are officially registered member of SCICOMATH CLUB. During the later part of this month, the new set of officers was selected. Club by-laws and new annual plans were discussed during the meetings. September 2012 As of this month, Science and Mathematics Month celebration was launched. Members prepared materials for the different activities to be conducted. Trivia questions were given every morning before the flag ceremony and all students are encouraged and feel free for their educational guess. Also, we have had a quiz bee for the elementary level. November 2012 During the early part of December, the club members introduced their selves to all the recipients of the reach- out program. They emphasized that a full participation will be rendered for the success of the said program. As the first day of the event, moderators conducted an orientation as to what agenda we are trying to promote for a healthy lifestyle. The SCICOMATH Club conducted the first reach-out visit. The club aims to help the target families in terms of health development. During this visit, the club members introduced to the audience the different herbal medicines that are available in the community. The other club members also teach the basic health procedure that is surely effective. Entertaining games add the excitement to the parents and their children. Prices were also given to the winners and non winners.
