14 Upon motion of counsel for Defendant herein and good cause appearing
15 therefor,
16 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Defendant be examined by a psychiatrist or
17 other person who is especially qualified by the Division of Mental Health and Developmental
18 Services of the Department of Health and Human Services pursuant to NRS 178.417, for the
19 purpose of determining:
20 1. If the Defendant is not of sufficient mentality to be able to understand
21 the nature of the criminal charge(s) against him;
22 2. If, because of mental insufficiency, the Defendant is not able to aid and
23 assist counsel in the defense interposed upon the trial or against the pronouncement of the
24 judgment thereafter and if the Defendant is able, if he chooses to assist and cooperate with
25 counsel.

IT IS ORDERED that the Defendant is to appear for the mental health
evaluation and cooperate with the evaluator on the date and time set for said evaluation.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the evaluator should review all pnor
evaluations in conducting the examination pursuant to this Order, in particular, the actions of
the Defendant at the Nevada Adult Mental Health Services and his conduct in the court during
the several proceedings that he has been involved in.
IT IS FUTHER ORDERED that the Defendant is to appear before the
Honorable Peter J. Sferrazza of the Reno Justice Court, Department No.2, on the 15
th
day of
October, 2012, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. for a competency evaluation hearing.
