CARETAKERS BLOTTER: Our caretakers will start sharing a couple extra things they come across while doing their regular duties. Look for this in our newsletters. June 24th @ 4:05pm Paul Horns son-in-law came to the door to let me know there was a leak. Since Paul was in the hospital they were having his old green truck removed from the property. The tow truck driver backed over the water meter box across from Pauls. He broke the concrete box, the meter, and the shut off valve. The tow truck driver took no responsibility for his actions. I wrote down the phone number on the side of the truck. Then I repaired the leak which took an hour and a half. BCHA will be invoicing the tow truck company for all repairs June 27th @ 8:40 am I was checking the restrooms when I found graffiti in the mens room. It was done with a paint pen on the mirror, the divider panel, and paper towel holder. Rob Hooper was on the property he directed me to call The BC Police. Mark Dubois came out made a report and took pictures. I then cleaned it off which took three and a half hours. Pictures are below. We have received our last warning from the BC Trash Removal if we continue to put trash that is not allowed in the dumpster they will start charging us or fining us for it. They do not accept vehicle batteries, pallets, AC units, tires of any size, and no refrigerators. Thanks, Bill Zielinski Caretaker

EQUIPMENT UPGRADE: Many members have approached us to purchase a Black Widow arena drag. We are looking into ways to purchase the new drag without any additional cost to the membership. If you are interested in donating privately or have any ideas how we can achieve this goal, please contact a board member. MEETINGS : Board MeetingThursday, August 15, 2013 6:00PM Announcers Stand Office. General Meeting Wednesday, August 21, 2013 7PM Womens Club. If you would like something addressed it must be presented in writing 24-48 hours in advance to any board member for board meetings and 5-7 business days in order to be put on the agenda for the General Meetings. PLAYDAY RESULTS: No playdays due to extreme heat. Look for us again in September! Concession Stand Needs You: The concession stand needs volunteers to work during events. The concession stand is what makes the BCHA stand apart from other venues and keeps visitors and participants coming back. Any time you can volunteer would be greatly appreciated. The concession stand helps offset your dues, but it takes a lot of work and new volunteers are always needed. Please contact Frieda Shepherd at 294-0916 to volunteer.
