Summary The video for People are Strange will be a trip threw a bizarre, psychedelic sub conscience of a modern day U.S. postal worker seen through the eyes of Jim Morrison. His thoughts will be delivered to you through the use of an ink blotch style collage coming to life based on a collection of abnormal or strange objects, people and artwork. The hue and effect for each screen will be very trippy and even hypnotizing at times. Modern day technology will be used to recreate the visual capabilities of the songs meaning. It will be genius. Setting There will be an array of different settings through out the video. However the video will primarily take place in an all white padded room with inserts of various settings displaying random people, artwork and objects. The Concept First we see a wide shot of a Jim Morrison caricature wearing a U.S. postal worker uniform standing in the middle of a white padded room with his head tilted slightly to the right. As we ZOOM IN we see that he has a troubled yet confused look on his face and question marks sporadically pop up in different colors and patterns surrounding his head. At this point the intro of the track has begun Still ZOOMING the caricature face get more and more confused until ultimately reforming itself into a knock off Picasso style face. Now with his eyes aligned in a straight line on the left side of his face and his mouth in place of where his nose used to be he opens his mouth and we spin into a world of purple skies and yellow lakes and blue grass. Faces look ugly when you're alone Women seem wicked when you're unwanted Streets are uneven when you're down (He sings the lyrics above as the action described below takes place) Morrison's caricature wakes up in a tree under water in this animated twilight zone of a world and sees a bird swim by. A baby bird follows behind the mother bird that just swam by. We go to an EX CU of Morrison and the bird staring at one another with judgmental unbelieving eyes. It swims close to Morrison's face and a thought bubble comes from its head in three clouds like dots. On the third dot we.... CUT TO - an all black vintage style silent movie screen and it reads That's ODD When you're strange Faces come out of the rain When you're strange No one remembers your name When you're strange When you're strange When you're strange (As he sings the lyrics above, the action described below takes place) CUT TO an all white screen with a shuffle of different random objects. First we see a cookie jar in the form of a Gerber Baby head with one eye cut out. Then masks of random people's faces from all races packaged like meat sitting in on the shelf in the grocery store. Then an EX CU of an ostrich's head. Then two bananas with faces drawn on them by a black sharpie marker. One banana has a surprised look drawn on it and the other sly grin. Then a picture of an English bull dog sitting upright in a chair behind a desk with a blue suit and red tie on. The moon is a pale pink with dark frames over its eyes resembling the Terminator. The trees are all discreetly in the shape of marijuana plants but have pleasant, smiling animated faces with multi colored music notes and staffs coming from their mouth as they whistle the beat of the song. They dance as Morrison walks by, swaying left to right to the beat. The grass is an aqua blue and the sky is still purple. Morrison continues to walk and comes across a walking talking gold fish with glasses on and a tobacco pipe. The fish bumps into his leg removes his seeing glasses squints and looks up at Jim. Jim gets down on his knees, and stare into the eyes of the fish. We ZOOM to an EX CU of the two and in one...two.... three..they both turn their head to the right and look at the camera with a puzzled look on their faces. CUT TO an EX CU of a Picasso painting hanging in an all white room. We ZOOM quickly to the caption under the picture and it reads That's ODD When you're strange Faces come out of the rain When you're strange No one remembers your name When you're strange When you're strange When you're strange (As he sings the lyrics above, the actions described below take place) CUT TO Morrison comes to a fork in the yellow brick road. However there are four signs all pointing in different directions. One is made of a robotic arm symbolizing the future, another is made up of an skeleton arm and fingers symbolizing the past. Another sign is made of legos in the form of a hand pointing back in the

direction he just came from and the final one is an all white studded glove with rhinestones on it pointing up. as Jim stands still for a moment evaluating all his options, we CUT TO A POP ART STYLE FLASHBACK of everything that happened while he was visiting this abnormal universe seen in four different screens with a different combination of colors in each screen. WE ZOOM into the center of the four screens and ZOOM out coming from the eye of JIM. A thin balloon string slowly comes out the bottom of the white studded glove and Jim takes hold of it as it lifts him into the air in the direction of the pale pink moon. As he drifts off into the horizon, one of his shoes fall back to the surface in slow motion. When it hits the ground, now back in the regular world, the walking talking goldfish with glasses and a tobacco pipe walks by and takes its glasses off. WE ZOOM to an EX CU as it squints at the camera then suddenly we.. CUT TO an all black vintage style silent movie screen and it reads PEOPLE ARE STRANGE At this point the song fades out
