Ms. Carrillo, fluent in English and Spanish, has served as keynote speaker and facilitated introductory sessions for all levels of management and environment, safety and health professionals. She has presented to companies and cultures as diverse as the Middle East, Latin America, North America, and Central Asia. Her unique understanding of safety culture and complexity management theory is translated into direct and concrete recommendations and tools to manage environmental protection and safety performance. Safety Environment and Health Carrillo & Associates, Inc (C&A) is an internationally recognized leader in culture change management with a specialization in Environment, Safety and Health. Debra Boelkes is the founder and CEO of Business World Rising, a leadership development services firm dedicated to building more innovative and inclusive enterprises. Its Business Women Rising division is dedicated to the advancement of women business leaders. Long known as The Queen of Green, Deb has nearly three decades of business development and operational leadership experience in the high tech industry. Prior to founding Business Women Rising in 2009, Deb was Director of Worldwide Business Programs at QLogic Corporation. At Arrow Electronics, Deb ran an Engineering Software as a Service (SaaS) line of business and, as Senior Advisor to the Chief Compliance Officer, she championed global-scale environmental compliance initiatives. She began her career as a Systems Engineer at AT&T. Deb is co-author of the soon-to-be-released book series, Unconventional Weapons for Infinite- Win Leaders. Deb earned her BS degree in Business Administration and her MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Rhode Island.
