Appalshops Prison Poetry Workshop Radio Series; May 2013- June 2013 Researcher and Booker
Pre-interview and book formerly incarcerated poets with compelling stories for hour-long New York, New Orleans and Military Veteran episodes. Acquired media access to various poetry workshops inside prisons and detention centers in New York and Detroit. Identified, located and acquired archived recordings of various Alan Lomax recordings at Library of Congress.

Pitched daily story ideas including several that became reporter pieces and two-ways on air. Contacted, pre-interviewed and scheduled guests for studio interviews daily. Produced and wrote scripts for 1 to 2-minute newscast spots on Massachusetts politics, economy, environment, and poverty. Created audio postcard on the use of a new invasive species detection app that was rebroadcast by WBUR. Produced a feature on increased demand for food at Food Banks in Massachusetts.
