7/20 vs. Fresno). SS Carlos Triunfel (2x4) recorded the teams only other multi-hit game. Starter

hits with 1 strikeout and 1 balk before being removed after reaching his pitch limit. Pryor was placed on the 15-day DL with a tear in his
right latissimus dorsi muscle on April 15. Pryor appeared in 7 of Seattles first 14 games this season. He did not allow a run in 7.1 innings
while striking out 7 and allowing just 3 hits and 1 walk.
OF NOTE: OF Stefen Romero has hit safely in 17 of his last 20 games, batting .300 (24x80) with 12 runs scored, 7 doubles, 1 home run,
15 RBI, 5 walks and 1 stolen base. OF Abraham Almonte has hit safely in 45 of 59 games (w/AB) with the Rainiers. He leads the team
with a .314 (66x210) batting average since making his Triple-A debut on May 13. After tossing one scoreless inning on Monday night, RH
Stephen Pryor has not allowed a run through 19 career appearances (23.0 IP) with the Rainiers since his Triple-A debut on May 8, 2012.
LHP James Paxton recorded a season-high 11 strikeouts on June 22 vs. Fresno. It marked his 9th career start recording at least 10
strikeouts (last: 11, 5/13/13 at New Orleans). RHP Taijuan Walker tossed 14.0 scoreless innings over his first 3 AAA starts, before
allowing a solo home run in the 5th inning on July 7 at Salt Lake. Overall he is 2-0 with a 2.42 ERA (7 ER, 26.0 IP) in 5 starts with Tacoma.
He has limited opponents to a .208 (20x96) average, while walking 10 and striking out 29. Walker is currently the youngest player in the
PCL this season and 2nd-youngest in Triple-A. He made his Triple-A debut vs. Fresno on June 25 at Cheney Stadium (W, 6.0,3,0,0,2,4).
Walker is the youngest Rainiers pitcher to make his Triple-A debut since a 19-year-old Felix Hernandez on April 8, 2005 at Fresno.
TRIPLE-A ALL-STAR GAME RECAP: Indianapolis Indians catcher Tony Sanchez's 2nd-inning 3-run blast powered the visiting
International League to a 4-3 victory over the Pacific Coast League on Wednesday at the 2013 Triple-A All-Star Game, hosted by the Reno
Aces. Rainiers outfielder Carlos Peguero walked in his only plate appearance, while finishing the game in right field. LH Brian Moran
(1.0,1,0,0,0,2) allowed 1 hit and struck out 2 in a scoreless 5th inning.

home run by C John Hicks (1x4, R, HR, RBI) in the 5th inning, as Jackson came-from-behind to
defeat Chattanooga 7-4 on Thursday night. 3B Ramon Morla (3x3, RBI, 2 BB) reached base safely
in 5 straight plate appearances, while 2B Gabriel Noriega (2x4, 2B, RBI, BB) and LF Jack Marder
(2x4, R, 3B, 3 RBI) each recorded multi-hit contests. Starter Anthony Fernandez (5.2,6,4,4,3,5)
earned his 6th win of the season, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits in 5.2 innings. Relievers LH Kyle Hunter
(0.2,1,0,0,0,1), RH Forrest Snow (1.2,0,0,0,0,1) and RH Tyler Burgoon (1.0,1,0,0,0,1) combined
to hold the Lookouts over the final 3.1 innings in relief.
OF NOTE: After allowing 5 runs over his first 6 appearances of the season, RH Carson Smith has
allowed only 5 earned runs over his last 27 relief appearances. During this stretch he is 0-1 with 7
saves and a 1.55 ERA (5 ER, 29.0 IP). Since April 22, Smith has lowered his ERA from 8.44 to
2.62. Smith has struck out at least 1 batter in 29 of 33 games, including recording 18 strikeouts
over his last 11 appearances. LH Kyle Hunter has held oppoents scoreless in 22 of 26 relief

SOUTHERN LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME RECAP: The Southern League South All-Stars limited
the North All-Start to only 1 hit in 6-0 win on Wednesday night. The South used 11 pitchers and
limited the North to 5 baserunners. It was the South's second straight All-Star win after seven
consecutive losses. Jackson outfielder James Jones (1x4, K) recorded the only hit for the North
All-Stars, hitting a double to right field to snap the no-hitter in the 5th inning. LHP Elias Roenis
(1.0,2,0,0,0,2) allowed 2 hits and struck out 2 in a scoreless 2nd inning. Jones was the only Generals player to appear in the game that
was also managed by Jim Pankovits.

OF NOTE: The Mavericks scored 4 runs in the top of the 6th inning as High Desert came-from-behind to defeat Lake Elsinore 6-4 on
Thursday night. CF Jamal Austin (3x4, 2 R, 2B, 3B, RBI), 2B Nate Melendres (2x5, 3B, 2 RBI), 3B Patrick Kivlehan (2x5, R, 2B) and RF
Jabari Blash (2x4, R, 2B, RBI) each recorded multi-hit games. RH Jordan Pries (4.0,6,4,4,2,2) allowed 4 runs on 6 hits in 4.0 innings, but
didnt figure into the decision. Relievers LH Bobby Shore (2.0,1,0,0,0,2), RH Andrew Kittredge (1.2,2,0,0,0,1) and RH Mayckol Guaipe
(1.1,1,0,0,0,3) combined to hold the Storm scoreless over the final 5.0 innings. Shore earned his 5th win of the season, while Guaipe
picked up his 3rd save.

RECAP: Starter Scott DeCecco allowed 1 run over 8.0 innings as Clinton defeated Wisconsin 5-1 on Thursday night. DeCecco
(8.0,5,1,1,2,4) earned his 8th win of the season, which is tied for the most amongst all Mariners minor league pitchers this season. He
allowed a run in the bottom of the 1st inning, before holding the Timber Rattlers scoreless over the next 7.0 innings. RH Joichi Ogando
(1.0,1,0,0,1,2) tossed a scoreless 9th inning to close out the game. C Tyler Marlette (3x5, 2B) led the LumberKings with 3 hits, while 2B
Ketel Marte (2x5, R, 2B, RBI), CF Alfredo Morales (2x5, R, 2B, RBI), DH Tim Lopes (2x4, 2B) and SS Martin Peguero (2x4, R, SB)
each recorded 2 of the teams 14 hits. 3B D.J. Peterson (1x5, R, HR, 2 RBI) recorded his first hit with Clinton, a solo home run to lead off
the 5th inning.
OF NOTE: OF Gabriel Guerrero has hit safely in 21 of his last 29 games, batting .359 (37x103) with 13 runs scored, 6 doubles, 11 RBI, 4
walks and 5 stolen bases. Since June 9, Guerrero is batting .343 (48x140) with 17 runs scored, 9 doubles, 18 RBI, 5 walks and 5 stolen
bases. Tim Lopes is batting .349 (22x63) with 5 runs scored, 2 doubles, 9 RBI, 2 walks and 3 stolen base in 18 games in July. OF Dario
Pizzano has hit safely in 12 of his last 14 games, batting .327 (16x49) with 7 runs scored, 3 doubles, 6 RBI, 8 walks and 2 stolen bases.
LH Scott DeCecco is 3-1 with a 2.77 ERA (8 ER, 26.0 IP) in last 4 starts. Overall this season he is 8-7 with a 4.21 ERA (51 ER, 109.0 IP)
in 20 starts this season. In 12 starts this year, Victor Sanchez is 2-4, 2.75 ERA (21 ER, 68.2 IP). After going 0-2 with a 5.79 ERA (9 ER,
14.0) in 3 starts from June 30-July 11, he has allowed only 1 run over his last 14.0 innings (0.64 ERA).
SANCHEZ NAMED PITCHER OF THE WEEK: RH Victor Sanchez was named Midwest League Player of the Week, 5 days after he
tossed the 7th 9-inning no-hitter in franchise history. Sanchez, 18, no-hit the Lansing Lugnuts in Clinton's 1-0 win on Wednesday night at
Ashford University Field. In the dominant performance against Lansing, Sanchez did not walk a batter and struck out a season-high 8. He
hit a batter in the first inning then retired 20 straight before a pair of errors allowed 2 baserunners in the 8th. In 77 years of baseball in
Clinton, it marks the 22nd time a pitcher has tossed a no-hitter. Sanchez is the youngest to accomplish the feat. It is the 2nd such honor for
a LumberKings player this year; Jabari Henry took home the award in early May.
Todays probable starter: LH Tyler Pike (6-3, 2.27) at Wisconsin
RECAP: Starter Lars Huijer and LH Tyler Wright combined on a 1-hit shutout as Everett defeated Tri-City 6-0 on Thursday night. Hiuijer
earned his 6th win and his 4th straight, allowing only 1 hit in 7.0 innings. Huijuer carried a no-hitter into the 7th before allowing a 1-out
single to Alec Mehrten. Overall he allowed 1 hit, 3 walks (all in the first inning) and struck out 7 in 7.0 innings. Wright (2.0,0,0,0,2,0) walked
2 batters over 2.0 scoreless innings to close out the game. PH/C Michael Carmichael (3x4) led the team with 3 hits, while LF Chantz
Mack (2x4, R, 2B, RBI) and DH Kyle Petty (2x4, RBI) each recorded 2 of Everetts 11 hits.
OF NOTE: INF Justin Seager has hit safely in 5 of the last 6 games he has appeared, batting .333 (8x24) with 3 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1
home run and 3 RBI. RH Lars Huijer has recorded a win in each of his last 4 starts, going 4-0 with a 0.45 ERA (1 ER, 20.0 ER). Overall he
is 6-1 with a 1.85 ERA (9 ER, 42.2 IP) in 8 games, 7 starts. He has limitd opponents to a .166 average (25x151), while walking 13 and

NORTHWEST LEAGUE ALL-STAR TEAM: Seven players from the Everett AquaSox were named to the Northwest League Northern

The Everett AquaSox host the 2013 Northwest League All-Star Game on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. This event marks the first NWL All-Star
