We Are Talking About: Women publicly preaching to mixed (men & women) audiences

It Is Not Because
We dont like women We think women cannot do as well as men We think women are inferior We think women dont know the Bible We want to hold onto old traditions

Many homes collapse due to the simple fact that the woman does not want to be submissive to the man. Many are the wives who hinder the word from many, due to their attitudes

Remember, do not confuse this silence with the silence in 1 Timothy. Well it is true that in 1 Timothy the word silence is Hesuchia while here is sigao SAY NOTHING, KEEP TOTALLY SILENT. DONT ASK QUESTIONS. For us silence is silence, it is the same word, but it is not like that for the Greek speakers. Women were creating trouble at Corinth and Paul said: DONT SAY A WORD AT ALL!

Arent we crossing the line when some sisters start teaching from the pew?

They can ask questions

They can give their inputs But they cannot teach from the pew.

The person teaching the class.

He must set the order in the class otherwise there will be confusion.
