that child. Everyone thought it was a great idea and on Christmas Eve they all voted to take their gifts to the other orphanage on Christmas morning before they opened their own gifts. It was a wonderful time of sharing and a great learning experience for our children.

The year 1975 is now history and i t certainly was an exciting one. It is impossible to give you all the details, so let me list just a few. We spent a longer time in the states this year than we ever have before, traveling nearly 52,000 miles and without any major trouble. We trav

It is a lovely sunny day in the valley of Mexico. It is warm for February and there is very little wind. It has been a good month and
we have so much to be thankful for.

Before I got out of the hospital we found out that Memo's leg was getting worse and as the doctor had feared over a year ago when he pulled his leg out of socket he needed a steel insert in his leg to overcome the part of the bone that is dying. He went into the hospital the week of the 17th. The operation was very successful and

20th we received word

Lord had taken Jack's Mother,

so we prepared for a flying


home to be with the rest of his

trip

ily. We so appreciate all the ex pressions of sympathy that we have received during this time of loss.

While we were gone the electric company finally came to hook up our
electricity so our current is much better. Hopefully we won't lose any more washing machine motors.

Hector celebrated birthday number 8 and Tony, Arturo and Firedy cele
brated new overalls.
