Dear Sir or Madam: Exclusive breastfeeding during early infancy has been shown to reduce childhood and maternal illnesses, risks, and hospitalizations. The Tarrant County Breastfeeding Coalition is a grassroots movement comprised of enthusiastic individuals who have come together to ensure that every mother in Tarrant County has the resources and ability to give her child the best possible start in life by breastfeeding. The Tarrant County Breastfeeding Coalition, in conjunction with the Mothers Milk Bank of North Texas, is planning several events this year to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding. In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week we are planning the 2nd Anuual Family Expo & Big Latch On at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens on Saturday August 3, 2013. Last years Family Expo & Big Latch On was a huge success with 103 mothers simultaneously breastfeeding their children and over 300 people in attendance! We are once again conducting a silent auction and raffle, organizing a kids station and offering businesses the opportunity to showcase their services or products by setting up a vendor booth. This year we are adding multiple screenings of Donor Milk: The Documentary. Your business was selected as one that might want attend an event focused on promoting a breastfeeding culture as well as the health of mother and child. If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete the attached vendor form . The 2nd Annual Family Expo & Big Latch On will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Setup will begin at 8 am and we must be out of the hall by 1:45 pm. It would be greatly appreciated if your company could help us make this a successful event again by sending a representative to the Family Expo & Big Latch On to broadcast your support of all breastfeeding mothers.
