Way to go 5th grade Sunday School Class, 114% enrollment in Sunday School this past Sunday.

Coming in close to this is the 3rd- 4th grade Sunday School class with 104% of their enrollment. Both classes are to be commended for obedience and outreach. What about your class? How obedient are you in attendance and how outreach minded are you? I believe the church grows through the Sunday School. It is where friends connect, new members and visitors are welcomed and where the Word of God is taught. The date for the HIGH ATTENDANCE DAY AND TAILGATE PARTY is September 8. Have you set your goal for that Sunday? Will your goal exceed your current enrollment? MEN, the Bowen Association annual Mens Conference will be held at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, September 7 at 8:30 AM. This year Dr. Jerry Pipes will be the guest leader. Again this year we have been asked to provide eight to ten ushers for the event. Let me know if you will serve during this Conference. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

CHILDRENS CHOIRS KICK OFF

Another year of fun and learning will begin Wednesday, August 14, as the 2013-2014 choir program begins. We have great things in store for our kids again this year as they sing, play instruments and have fun learning about God while making beautiful music to praise Him! Even though the choirs begin at 5:45, Im asking parents to avoid dropping their children off any sooner that 5:40 PM. We want your kids to be safe while they are here on the campus and our leaders cannot supervise them when they arrive too soon for events. Thanks for your help.

SEEKING TEACHERS
Many of the teachers on both Sunday and Wednesday nights are being called to other areas of service. I know this means that many of our members are now being led to serve in our children's ministry. If you are feeling the Holy Spirit call you, now is the time to serve! We are in critical need of teachers on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, especially men. Don't miss out on the blessings God has for your obedience! If you are interested in serving, please call me at my number below or try the church office at 229-246-1563.

PLEASE WATCH FOR UPCOMING EVENTS!!!

Child Registration
I am asking every parent to complete a registration form for every child in his/her home. Forms can be found on the church website at www.fbcbainbridge.com. Simply hover over "Mininistries" on the top menu bar. Then hover over "Children on Facebook" and the "Child Registration" option will appear. Be sure to include your email address!

Kindergarten Recognition Sunday

Our former Kindergarteners, now 1st graders, will be recognized on Sunday, August 11 during the 11 am service.

SAINTS ALIVE
The Saints Alive Choir will share Glory to His Name in the evening worship this Sunday night. As we discussed, well kick off our new year of fun, singing and ministry by meeting again at 10:30 on Monday, August 12. We will host a sandwich luncheon at 11:45 that morning where we will meet and greet and eat. Bring a friend, we can double our attendance. Just think of the excitement and opportunity!

AWANA Training
Calling all AWANA volunteers! If you are willing to serve in AWANA this year, you are invited to a special lunch on Sunday, August 24, at noon to prepare for the new year. Come and see what's new and get excited to begin AWANA again on September 15. Your participation is important!

Car Seats
I am searching for a few booster and car seats for children ages 4-8. You may have one you are no longer in need of or are able to find a deal. My goal is to use these seats for our missions programs so we can transport our younger children (grades 1 & 2) to visit nursing homes, etc. and safely transport the children we van in on a weekly basis.

HANDBELL CHOIR
Seven PM will be the time that bell ringers will gather in the balcony bell room on August 14. Come join us if you even have an inkling of a desire to ring. Well help you see if ringing is right for you.
