Aug. 11, Mon.- Ministry Team Meeting, 6 p.m., Board of Elders Meeting at 7 p.m. Thanks for your prayers for these meetings. If you have questions, encouragement, suggestions, etc. for our church, please share them with the ministry team. Your input is welcomed. Aug. 13, Tues.-Freedom Gate Bible Study- Meet at Gehman Mennonite Church at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 16, Fri.- Game and Movie Night at the Adamstown Park Grove, at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15, Sun. -A hymn sing will held in the 1855 Alleghany Mennonite Meetinghouse, (near Alleghenyville) at 2 p.m. Jim Garman of Lititz, PA will lead hymns from the Life Songs #2. If you have a copy of this hymnal, please bring it along. For more information, call 610-777-3003 or 717-278-8459. -School supplies are on sale in local stores so the MCC project for the month will be school kits. MCC distributes kits around the world, in places where poverty, war, disasters, etc. do not allow children easy access to school supplies. Fill a bag with the following items:4 spiral or perforated notebooks (8 1/2 x 10 1/2 in. & 70 sheets), 1 ruler (flat, flexible plastic; indicating both 30 cm & 12 in.), and12 colored pencils (in packaging). Sewing Circle will add writing pencils & erasers. We meet the third Wed. of the month, morning and afternoon at Bowmansville Mennonite Church.
