AIM:
The main aim of this project is to develop a security and control automation system by which we can control and monitor the status of home appliances.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this system is to monitor the secure environment and let the user know about the security breach. The remote user can control his premises from any part of the world through GSM network. The system is also designed for home automation to switch ON/OFF different home appliances.

DESCRIPTION:
In this project there are two sections, main section and monitor section and this system operated in two modes that are SMS mode and Monitoring mode. In SMS mode if any unauthorized person is enter into home then SMS will be come to owner through GSM module. At that time total operation is monitor at monitor section in PC.In Monitoring mode in main section if any unknown person entered then buzzer will on.. In main section Temperature sensor and gas sensor are placed. The sensor module measures the temperature and gas of the system, the temperature and gas values are analog, but controller understands digital value, hence to convert in digital data, ADC is used. The ADC is an analog to digital converter which converts the values of sensors to the digital value, and then microcontroller converts the digital signal into frame data that will be transmitted in accordance with protocol rule. The data is transmitted to the section 2 that is monitor section through Zigbee Module and it is displayed on PC. Whenever the value of temperature and gas are exceed from its threshold level then automatically the respective device will be controlled in Monitoring mode and message will come to owner in SMS mode.

TECHNOLOGY: ZIGBEE:
Zigbee is new wireless technology guided by IEEE 802.15.4 Personal Area Network standard. It is primarily designed for the wide range controlling applications and to replace the existing non-standard technologies. It currently operates in 868 MHz band at a data rate of 20Kbps in Europe, 914MHz band at 40kbps in USA, and the 2.4GHz ISM bands Worldwide at a maximum data-rate of 250kbps. It is used to verify whether users truncation is possible or not. One of the main advantages of this ZIGBEE communication is that it provides a noise free communication, the amount of noise added in this type of communication is very less compared to the other wireless communications.

GSM TECHNOLOGY:

accurate. Hence every field prefers automated control systems. Especially in the field of electronics automated systems are doing better performance. Probably the most useful thing to know about the global system for mobile communication is that it is an international standard. If you travel in parts of world, GSM is only type of cellular service available. Instead of analog services, GSM was developed as a digital system using TDMA technology.
