Indeed, all praise belongs to Allah. We praise Him, ask for His assistance and we ask for forgiveness from Him. And we seek His protection from the evils of our own selves and from the evils of our actions. He whom Allah guides; there is none who can misguide him, and he whom Allah misguides; there is none who can guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship save Allah. He is alone and He has no partners with Him. I also bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His messenger. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his family and his companions. Know that the most truthful speech is the speech of Allah and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam). The most evil affairs are the newly invented matters (into the religion). And every newly invented affair is an innovation. Every innovation is a misguidance and every misguidance is in the Hellfire. As for what follows; The scholars negate from the book of Allah, the distortion of the extremists, the adoption of the abolishers and the misinterpretation of the ignoramus. Ibraaheem and ash-Shabee were once mentioned to Ibn Awn (rahimahullaah). So Ibn Awn said: Ibraaheem used be a silent person. But when the trials came or when the fatawaas started to come, Ibraheem started to face them. And ashShabee used to recite the ahaadeeth and also he used to recite verses of poetry and other such things. But when the trials came or when the fatawaas started to come, he became silent. (Narrated by Ibn Asaakir in Taareekh Dimishq: 25/363). And Ibn ul-Qayyim il-Jawziyyah (rahimahullaah) said: Jihaad is of two types; (a) Jihaad with ones hand and spears. Many people have taken part in it. (b) Jihaad with evidence and clarification. And this (second) type is specific for the followers of the prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam). And it is the jihaad of the imams (of the religion). And this (second) type is the better of the two types mentioned. It is because of the great benefits it contain, the intense subsistence and numerous enemies it has. (Miftaah Daar is-Saaadah: 1/271). Ash-Shaikh Ibn ul-Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah) said: There is no doubt that seeking knowledge is from the best of actions. Rather, it is from Jihaad in the way of Allah. Especially in these times when innovations have appeared, spread

and increased in the Islamic communities. And a lot of ignorance has been started by people who have stepped into giving verdicts without any knowledge. The people have started to dispute. These three reasons have made it necessary upon the youth to seek knowledge. Firstly: the innovations which have begun to spread its evils. Secondly: People who have begun to give verdicts and religious ruling without any knowledge. Thirdly: Immense and numerous arguments that have come in issues of knowledge which are well known to the scholars, and yet people dispute and argue about them without any knowledge. (Kitaab ul-Ilm: 23) And from these scholars who are making jihaad in the way of Allah is; our Shaikh, al-Allaamah, the well-grounded and highly skilled, Rabee bin Haadee Umair al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah). Indeed, the salafee scholars have praised Shaikh Rabee bin Haadee Umair alMadkhalee the flag bearer of jarh wat-tadeel (the science of criticism and praise) in truth, with utmost fairness and justice. And it is not upon people like me to praise and give recommendations on Shaikh Rabee bin Haadee Umair al-Madkhalee. This is because I know my level in front of this lofty mountain, this vast ocean by which Allah has benefited the slaves and the lands. For, he has battled polytheism (shirk) and he has aided monotheism (Tawheed). He has subdued innovations and presented the Sunnah. He stood in the face of the raafidees, the soofees and the hizbees. Rather, he stood in the face of every one who tried to touch the religion, according to the best of his ability and hard work. And Allah did grant him success in that. And from here, the scholars described him to be a mujaahid bearing the flag of Tawheed and Sunnah and that he is the flag bearer of jarh wat-tadeel (the science of criticism and praise). With those lofty descriptions, the people of knowledge have described him with fairness, justice and truth. That is how they think of him and they do not praise upon anyone above Allah. So, I loved to bring forth those descriptions of the people of knowledge upon him to the notion of my salafee brothers. And from those scholars who described him like that are;

As-Shaikh al-Allaamah Muhammad Naasir ud-Deen al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah)

As-Shaikh Muhammad Naasir ud-Deen al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah) said while describing Shaikh Rabee Indeed, the one bearing the flag of jarh wat-tadeel today in this era is truly our brother Dr. Rabee. Those who refute him can never refute him with knowledge. The knowledge is with him...

As-Shaikh al-Allaamah Muqbil bin Haadee al-Waadiee (rahimahullaah)

As-Shaikh Muqbil bin Haadee al-Waadiee (rahimahullaah) described him in his statement All praise to Allah! The ahl us-Sunnah are screening the society always. There will never cease to be a group from among my ummah manifest upon the truth. Those who oppose them and those who abandon them cannot harm them until the command of Allah comes to pass while they remain like that. So, as-Shaikh Rabee in the lands of two holy mosques and the lands of najd, - praise be to Allah he is screening and monitoring the hizbiyyoon. And he is exposing what they are upon.

As-Shaikh al-Allaamah, the muftee of Jaazaan, Ahmad bin Yahyaa anNajmee (rahimahullaah)
As-Shaikh al-Allaamah, the muftee of Jaazaan, Ahmad bin Yahyaa an-Najmee (rahimahullaah) described Shaikh Rabee saying as-Shaikh Rabee is a mujaahid. May Allah reward him with good! I am happy with his striving in the spreading of Sunnah, in the subduing of innovation and its people. I am happy with the importance he has given to the Sunnah and to spread it according to his ability. For this, I ask Allah to reward him with the best of rewards. And due to it, I and the all of Ahl us-Sunnah love him. Shaikh (rahimahullaah) has also said as-Shaikh Rabee studied at the institute. And I am among his teachers at the institute. But, Shaikh Rabee is better than me. That is because he is a mujaahid in reviving the Sunnah, because, he is a mujaahid in subduing the innovations and refuting the innovators. He has devoted himself to this. We ask Allah to direct all of us towards that which He loves and is pleased with. Shaikh (rahimahullaah) also said The one who finds in himself the ability to distinguish the truth from false hood and the sunnah from the innovations, it is obligatory for such a person to stand with it. And perhaps, Shaikh Rabee is

from those people who have devoted themselves into this position of striving in the way of Allah (Jihad). So he has succeeded and all praises are to Allah. He (rahimahullaah) has also said as-Shaikh Rabee is well known for his jihaad in raising the Sunnah and refuting the innovators. He (rahimahullaah) has also said in his introduction to the refutation of Shaikh Rabee on the misguided Raafidee Hasan Farhaan al-Maalikee So, he has been confronted by as-Shaikh Rabee bin Haadee al-Madkhalee who has been monitoring the disorder for a longtime. He did it as a jihaad in the cause of Allah and as repulsion against the enemies of Allah. He did it to clarify to the deluded ones, the misguidance and the deviation of these innovators who think and take it to be the guidance and actual uprightness. So, congratulations to him for what he has stood with in jihaad for the benefit of Islaam. With it, he defended the pure Sunnah. So, May Allah reward him with good and may He bless him! We ask Allah to grant us and him steadfastness upon the truth. May Allah reward Shaikh Rabee with the best of rewards! May Allah bless in him, in his call and in his jihaad! And May Allah make us and him from those who protect and guard the mighty Shareeah in accordance to the best of ability and the best of condition.

As-Shaikh al-Allaamah, Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhaab al-Bannaa (Shafaahullah wa afaahu)

As-Shaikh al-Allaamah Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhaab al-Bannaa (May Allah grant him cure and grant him health) described Shaikh Rabee saying Our brother Rabee Haadee is an Imaam of Jarh wat-tadeel, a truthful and a trustworthy man. By Allah! He is the Imaam of Jarh wat-Tadeel in the 14th Century AH. At the beginning of every hundred years, Allah raises from this ummah, a man who would revive the affairs of the religion to them. So, truly, fairly and justly, the reviver of Jarh Wat-Tadeel is, By Allah! Rabee Haadee. We challenge that he has not spoken about any one without clear evidence. Not in his speeches, neither in his recordings nor in his books.

As-Shaikh al-Allaamah Zaid bin Muhammad al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullah) described Shaikh Rabee in his statement and the refutations with which Shaikh Rabee stood with is a jihaad in raising high the word of truth. And it is an advice for the Muslims and especially for the students of knowledge and for

others who come under their ruling from those who do not have easy ways in proceeding to study the skills of aqeedah, manhaj and the refutations. This is so that they do not fall into things which are forbidden and which are warned from.

As-Shaikh al-Allaamah Ubaid bin Abdillaah al-Jaabiree (hafidhahullaah) described Shaikh Rabee saying as-Shaikh Rabee is the bearer of the lofty and mighty flag of the Sunnah. And it is with the witness of the scholars. They have praised him and given their recommendations of him. The flag that Shaikh Rabee has lifted up is as a jihaad for the Ahl us-Sunnah in protecting it and guarding its people. And that flag is a thorn in the throats of the innovators till the Day of Judgment. All praises are to Allah. It did not wither, nor did it fade away and neither did it change.

As-Shaikh Dr. Muhammad bin Rabee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah)

As-Shaikh Dr. Muhammad bin Rabee al-Madkhalee described Shaikh Rabee saying: I bear witness by Allah and again by Allah! Verily, I have not seen someone who is wiser and more easily understanding than this honorable Shaikh. He does not have any other concern, or any other target, or any other cause, or any other objective other than knowledge and calling people to Tawheed and fighting against shirk and innovations. When he makes alliance, then it is based on this and when he makes enmity, then too, it is based on this. He was established upon the love of Quran and Sunnah. The books would not be separated from him even for a moment during a day except when he was sleeping. And if someone was to visit him, he would find the Shaikh having his book in his hand. He taught his family. So his teaching of the sons and the relatives are upon the scales of his good deeds. O Allah! Reward him with good on our behalf and on the behalf of all those who have benefited from him from the east and west. O Allah! Make his end a good end just like how You have made his days excel.

As-Shaikh al-Ustaadh Dr. Muhammad bin Umar Baazmool (hafidhahullaah) described him saying: as-Shaikh Rabee is a special man in talking about these matters. It is almost as if he is the only man in this issue. I do not know any

man who has devoted his speeches and his time into these affairs. And he dropped off from the scholars the responsibility of Fard al-Kifaayah. Had not Shaikh Rabee and others like him from the people of knowledge stood up with these affairs, the people of knowledge would be held responsible for their silence regarding the people of innovations, the people of falsehood and regarding the clarification of the mistakes into which these people have fallen in. And in the end: I ask Allah to protect and preserve our Shaikh Rabee the spring of Sunnah from every plot and every evil plan. And that He protects and guards through him, the Tawheed and the Sunnah from every suspicion, every trial and every disgraceful tribulation. And that He raises his rank in alIlliyeen amongst the prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs and the righteous. And that He rewards him from our behalf with the best of rewards and that He lengthens his life in good, in good actions, and in aiding the truth and its people. Aameen!
