PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle is equipped with GM's PASSLOCK II passive anti-theft system. Please refer to the alarm diagram before any remote start installation. * The 4300 V6 engine still uses a single coil on the top of the engine, tach wire is WHITE. On the V8 engines, there is a coil for each cylinder, each with a 4-pin plug. Each plug contains a BLACK, BROWN & PINK, as well as a 4th wire which changes color on each coil. This 4th wire can be used as your tach reference, set your remote starter for a 1 cylinder signal. ** In the 24-pin plug on the far left. *** Tan (driver's door) is in the 16 pin plug on the far right and the Blue/white (pass. Door) in on the 24-pin plug in the center of the module. **** Located is 16-pin plug on far right. Pulse the TAN wire at the same time as the lock wire to arm the factory alarm. Pulse ground to the LT.GREEN wire to disarm the alarm.
