Work in groups of 6. 1. You will design a Math Center that has the following components: a mini library, a conference table for the teacher and students, a white board corner for lecture, a nook for three computers, a refreshment area, and ten armchairs for students. 2. You have to purchase the materials to be used in the Center and you only have limited funds. Decide which materials are appropriate in the Center and justify your decision. 3. Figure out the area required for the Center. 4. Decide where it should be located in the building. 5. Make a scale drawing of the Center and present in front of class.

Collaborative Activity 3 Work with a partner. 1. You will learn how to compute a water bill. 2. You and your partner will each bring a water bill. 3. Analyze how the amount in the water bill was arrived at. 4. Once you found the formula check it ut using the two water bills that you have. If you arrive at the correct amount, then you have succeeded in your task. 5. Write a step-by-step procedure on how to compute for the water bill.
