CAVANAGHS OF FERMOY LEAGUES COMPLETED

DIVISION 1 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS For the 3rd year in a row Sarsfields are the Div 1 Avondhu/Imokilly Hurling league champions following a 2 14 to 3 08 win over Cobh in Fermoy on Monday 12/8/13. Seany Barry of Cavanaghs was on hand to present the trophy to Sars Captain along with Avondhu Vice Chairman Barry Ahern, and Imokilly Vice Chairman Donal O Keeffe,

DIVISION 2 LEAGUE HURLING CHAMPIONS On Friday 9/8/13 in Kilavullen Doneraile Captured the Div 2 Hurling League title with a good win over Castletownroche on a Score of 3 19 to 2 08. John O Donnell Chairman of the Avondhu Board along with Kieran Hanlon of Cavanaghs and Liam Hanley Avondhu Board presented the Cup to Brian O Rourke Captain of the Victories Doneraile Team

AVONDHU SENIOR HURLERS BOW OUT OF CHAMPIONSHIP The Avondhu Senior Hurlers Bowed out of the County Senior Hurling Championship when they were defeated by Killeagh on a Score line of 3 15 to 1 14 The Team Lined out as Follows; 1. Munster GAA Development Grants Munster GAA provides generous grant aid to support GAA units in the development of their facilities in the province. In 2013, 1.05 million is being made available to the clubs of the province to assist with physical development. The scheme guidelines and application forms are available below. Tickets for All-Ireland Finals are not available for general sale. Season Ticket holders who have met the criteria will be allocated an All-Ireland Final ticket as per normal.
